Can someone tell me what each of these music software are good for?

Well things like pro tools, logic, sonar, reason, fl studio etc, not just cheap shareware ones I'm talking about these professional ones (I might have missed some so please write one for them as well :D), like what is each one good for? I know logic and pro tools are the best for vocals, fl studio is good for beats and instrumentals for starting out, and that's mainly it.
