Why am I such a weakling?

Emotionally. I'm good- really good- at faking happiness, but it's getting steadily harder. I go through phases of euphoria but I also go through phases of suicidal-level sadness. I can't stand to cry, but it's hard not to sometimes. Tears fall from my face whether I sob or not- they just drop out like rocks. I'm elated at any bit of praise or the slightest compliment, but I'm crushed by any kind of reprimanding or criticism. And yet I'm a very sarcastic, critical person. How come I can dish it out but I can't take it? I hate myself sometimes. Outwardly I just laugh it off- anything and everything off- but when I'm alone everything really takes it's toll. No one understands or cares enough to notice. I don't know what to do about it. I hurt so bad so often but I don't know how to get rid of it, or if I can. I don't think I can. I need someone to pull me out of it, but no one will. So am I just doomed to being surrounded by people but being as alone as if I were in exile?

However, the rest of your diet doesn't add up. Croissants are fine as an occasional treat or if the rest of your diet is good, but they are not nutritious. Things like 'alpro soy cappucino' are processed foods, not proper food! No point eating things like gelato and ciocolatta, as they are treats, not food (few nutrients) and probably contain industrial ingredients. Buy a recipe book, starting cooking, stop living on snacks, and base your food around meat and vegetables. Hope that helps.

I know the eyes are the window to the soul and all, but is it true that you can read someone's personality or the kind of person they are by looking into their eyes/the expression on their face? I met this man at work a few weeks ago. He was half chinese and half cambodian. That was like my first day there and I had never seen/met this man before. Anyways to make a long story short, he approached me and asked what my name was and I told him. The next thing he said was, "(my name), you're very kind; you're like a lamb." Then he said he wanted to be my friend and he started telling me a lil' about himself, where he was from, what he came to do in Canada, when he came (he was a new immigrant) etc. It just surprised me that someone I had never met before can read me. She will eat a little millet from my hand but it takes her awhile to decide it is safe. I have had her for about three weeks and just got her wings clipped a few days ago. She looks really lonely but I don't want to get her a partner until I have tried everything I can think of to tame her and hopefully get her to bond with me. If everything fails then I am willing to get her a partner but not until then. I try to hold millet in her cage for her several times a day for a half an hour or more, it usually takes her about 15 minutes to eat anything. Should I email my fiance's ex to get more information?

My fiance is going to court in about 3 weeks for custody of his daughter. We're working on his case right now and deciding what to include. Basically its cut and dry. My fiance has done nothing wrong according to Ohio's custody laws and the best interests of the child. His ex has kept him away from their daughter purely out of spite. I have several emails between she and myself as well as she and my fiance that show she is only keeping him away out of spite. There are a few things, though, that I want to get her to say. Im almost 19, and I tore my rotator cuff my junior year of high school. I was bench pressing and the last rep I pushed really hard then there was a sharp pain in my shoulder. It has only ached one time since I hurt it. If I raise my arm straight out, then pull my arm in (like I have two arms out and my fists are touching) then lift a little wegiht that pain is there. I want to start lifting again. Should I jsut deal with the pain or get if fixed? Have any of you experienced a bulging disk?

I injured my back a couple of weeks ago. Family MD initially thought I had strained a muscle, gave me pain meds and muscle relaxers...didn't help. This pain is in the left side of my back, starts around where the waistband of my jeans go, extends down into my behind and a couple of times into the very top part of my thigh. It's not near the surface, when I touch or press into the area where the pain is, it doesn't hurt more like you'd think it would from a damaged muscle. And it doesn't hurt when I walk, stand, lay down or sit reclined...but when I sit upright, that's when it starts. I can't hardly stand to sit for more than 10-15 minutes. Have finished many meals standing up since this happened. A friend of mine who is a nurse said to have my DR sent me for an MRI, that she thinks I might have a bulging disk. If anyone reading this has had a bulging disk or knows anyone close who has, does this sound like what you or they went through? ANY info appreciated!

So far, the only books I've ever read on my spare timewere the Twilight series (before twilight, I was barely much of a reader) and The Count of Monte Cristo. i am a pitcher for a college baseball team. today during warm ups the team was doing a long-toss drill. after my third or fourth toss, i felt a lot of pain all over the top of my shoulder during the downward thrust of the throw. after just two more throws, i could barely even rotate my arm in a throwing motion. needless to say i am very worried that something is seriously wrong and i need some sort of surgery. the problem i am having is that i cannot pinpoint the pain on my shoulder. i can press as hard as i want on the shoulder and it causes me no discomfort. it is only when i throw a baseball or do any physical activity that puts stress on that part of my arm. so if anyone (preferably a pitcher who has had an injury like this before) can give me any advice on this matter, maybe let me know if i should go to a doctor, or just wait it out and see if it gets any better, that would really help me a lot.

Silver Shark eating Tetras?

After being dumped with all my friends fish because he didn't want them, I haven't been paying them too much attention other than feeding and cleaning like usual. What you're missing is conflict. Aside from the initial problem/conflict where Miles can't ride anymore, you don't mention any other conflict in the story. What is the problem here that needs solving? What obstacles do the characters need to overcome? It doesn't have to be anything major, but most stories have some kind of problem or conflict. It can be external if you want or entirely internal within the characters themselves, but without that opposition, you're not going to have a whole lot of rising action and who knows what the climax would be. There probably wouldn't be one. Find some sort of problem or challenge your characters need to overcome.

I've made a lot of financial mistakes - when I first moved away from home 6 years ago, I charged a lot to several credit cards due to medical bills, school, and quite frankly - lack of financial responsibility and planning. I am more financially stable now, and am working hard to pay everything off. However, everything sat for years (on the horrible advice of a debt counselor) and went to collections (we were going to settle everything). Their company went out of business, so I am left to clean up the mess myself. Bottom line, I am picking one credit card at a time, and trying to settle before it reaches litigation. I am also paying on my medical bills. When I look at my credit report, it is a mess, with the accounts all stating, "Account closed, transferred, seriously past due . . . legally settled below owed amount . . ." etc. What can I do to at this point to make my situation better? My boyfriend said to get rid of my credit cards, but they were closed out a long time ago. I've been "cash only" for about two years. I know it will take time, but in the meantime what can I do? I'll be 29 in August, and it's not like I have unrealistic expectations of buying a house at 30 or anything - But I'd like everything cleared up on my end by then at least!

It is left over from when they were kittens kneading their mom to get more milk to come out. It is a comforting act to kittens and cats, so many cats carry it over to their adult lives. The only way to go to the top of half Dome is to go on your own, unless you go by horse. Of course going by horse will not quite get you to the top. If you really want to hike half dome, you must leave very early in the morning(5 to 6am), bring your own food and plenty of water, and MUST be in great physical shape. It takes at least 12 hours to do the hike. You can make it a two dayer by camping at little yosemite, but getting reservations to camp there is rather difficult.

I left, she email how i was crazy and that it was a terrible idea to come there etc. finishing off with "thanks for being my friend". No word from her or myself in months, like 7....now a facebook message from her "I miss you, I miss hanging out with you and your friendship. I just wanted you to know that". Back fire from the carbs almost always means the car is to lean. STOP don't drive till you get a Book and learn how to work on one of the easiest carburetor to rebuild clean and overhaul. But make sure you have the complete overhaul kits and always replace any old cracked fuel lines and if you find rubber bits in those float chambers also replace the fuel pump. (diaphragm may be coming apart). You should have left those parts sitting on the work bench. Library may have books on SU carbs. Over haul kits may have instructions. Float drop and float height is very important as is main jet height and needle wear. You need to find a old guy who remembers SU carburetors either MG Triumph or Datsun GOOD LUCK GET ER DONE

Why don't companies make turbos with carbon fiber parts?

There are other forms of carbon besides carbon fiber reinforced epoxy. There are currently pistons and disc brake pads made from C-C (carbon-carbon) and C-SiC (carbon-silicon carbide). These will handle the loads and heat. I'm not sure what is holding back changing the exhaust turbine in turbos to C-C designs. It may be the more complicated geometry required of the turbine impeller.

Worsening pain in middle to lower tibia?

I posted this yesterday but with inaccurate information. I currently for the past few months have been having pain in my Tibia it seems. The pain is deep and very localized. First I thought it was a bruise but I realized there was no visible bruise and plus the pain has got worse. Mostly when I bump it right, it hurts very bad. Usually I dont notice it much walking around. However the past few weeks to month the pain has been increasing. Its still in one spot but I feel it sometimes just sitting still or even aches when I am walking. Pressing the area causes the pain to feel worse. Any ideas? I am 17 year old male btw. FYI: not involved in any sports right now either. Just trying to get more opinions on what people think. Thanks!
