How do I remove dried wood glue from wood?

I would get a nice sharp chisel and take my time. you are going to damage the wood but it should be minimal. you should be able to sand out any blemishes. or if you are going to paint it, hit the spot w/ a little wood filler sand and paint. you will never see it. good luck!!
