Cl A Misdemeanor conviction?

I was convicted of Aggravated Harrment in the 2nd degree about a year ago. I was told that this is a cl A misdemeanor. I did not serve any jail time, but I had to pay a lot of money in restitution to the party I hared. Is this cl A misdemeanor going to keep me from getting a job? And more specifically I am thinking about getting my Master's to be a Spanish teacher...would this conviction keep me from getting a teaching job? Also would it keep me from just getting a food service or retail job (minimum wage jobs)? How is this going to affect me in my employment search in the future?
