Stocking 10 g tank (betta)?

adding the shrimp and snails will only help to maintain your tank and will not do it any harm. I would however not adding any more fish. I'm not really sure what to tell you about the light other than maybe get a floating plant or one that kinda hangs so the fish can hide under it from the light.
