Am I being touchy or would you find this patronising?

Im a 17 year old girl. Ive never had a boyfriend but my best friend has had 2. Her current one can apparently be really sweet yet other times pisses her off sometimes and shes like 'boys are nobs' and 'i hate boys'. Shes saying to me 'trust me stay single'. I find it really patronising. If its that much hle why doesnt she dump him and be single herself!
